Booster - Permeate - Delivery Which one of these pumps do I need? PERMEATE PUMP:
What if you want to save water AND improve performance?
Then you want a
PERMEATE PUMP. The permeate pump increases the pressure of the water
stored in the pressure tank. It also reduces the backpressure
caused by the storage tank. With little or no back pressure, the membrane becomes
very efficient. In fact, you can save up to 80% of the waste caused by a normal
system. Better water, more water, and far less waste. BOOSTER PUMP: If you have low household pressure, you
need a BOOSTER PUMP.
You may also consider a booster pump (rated at .48 GPM) if you have very cold water. With normal water pressure of 50 PSI and very cold water, say 40 degrees, you may
need to boost the working pressure of the system.
DELIVERY PUMP: If
you store water in an open tank and you want to send it somewhere else, or if
you need to move water a very long distance, then you want a
DELIVERY PUMP.
This pump maintains pressure in the tank. When you open a tap the pump comes on
and stays on until you turn off the tap. ( Select either the 1.4 GPM or the heavy duty 4.0 GPM) For more information visit Aquatec
All pumps do wear out, but we will warranty all pumps for one full year.
