The ED ERD Non-electric permeate pump driven R.O. system for 50 or 75 GPD.
The Max 50 Under Sink ROProduces 50
GPD, Energy Recovery Device (ERD) non-electric permeate pump driven system
The Dual Home Reef The drinking
water system for areas that have high phosphate, nitrate,or arsenic. Also a fovorite of Reefkeepers,
drinking, and zero TDS water. See our Reefkeeper products page.
If you just want an economical undersink RO without an icemaker ... the Water Cop is it.
If you want the basis undersink RO with icemaker pump & connections then choose the Max 50 for good city water and the ED unit for well water where more prefiltering is typically needed.
If you want a system for both the undersink and deionized water then choose one of the dual home reef systems. Look in the ReefKeepers Section.
If you want RO water throughout the house, then you want the GE Merlin Whole House System which can produce up to 1,000 gallons per day!
In order to best serve the needs of our customers, we offer different drinking water systems with varying features. In the table below are the features and options for each model. The GPD rating is based upon optimum conditions; a water temperature of 77 degrees F and 50 PSI tap water pressure. 50 PSI is a very common water pressure, only when you are in need of 65 PSI will you find trouble.
Unless specifically requested, these systems come equipped with a 50 GPD membrane.
Membrane options include the 75 and the 100 gallon per day.

The Permeate pump acts as the Auto Shut Off Valve to shut down the water
supply to the unit when full.
ASOV
Automatic Shut Off
Valve -- A mechanism which is connected to the system and
automatically stops the flow of water when the system is not in
use. This feature saves water and prolongs filter life.
Stages
The number of
filters that make up the total system. See the
Filter
page for more information.
DI
Deionization stage
is very useful for the reduction of phosphates and other
materials which may pass through the R.O. membrane.
PSI Gauge
A gauge that is
connected inline to measure line pressure.
Storage
2.2
or 3.2 gallon pressurized holding tank. Larger tanks are
available up to 88 gallons .
Faucet
A high quality
two position gooseneck faucet that mounts at your sink for drawing
purified water.
Clear
Clear filter
housings allow you to see your filters.
Fast Flush
A mechanism that
is connected to the system to allow flushing of the membrane which
prolongs it's life.
GPD
The specified
output rating of a reverse osmosis membrane. FilmTec membranes are
rated at 50 psi using 77F water. Lesser known or lower cost
membranes are rated at 65 psi which is an uncommon household water pressure.
Permeate Pump
A non-electric
pump that connects into an R.O. system. It enhances system performance
and decreases water consumption by up to 80%. This is actually a
non-electric energy recovery device (ERD). The pump uses only the waste water as
power to force the permeate into the
storage tank. This is the only way to take advantage of ice and water at the
refrigerator. Non-pump driven R.O. systems will not work on newer
refrigerator models.
UV
Ultraviolet
Sterilizer -- Sterilizes pathogens that may be in your water supply
by exposing the pathogens to ultraviolet radiation. This type of irradiation
damages the DNA of any bacteria,
preventing reproduction and giving you worry free water when you
have a tainted supply. If your health department has informed you
that e-coli are present, UV is a MUST. If you are in an area that
frequently has boil-water orders, the addition of UV should be a strong
consideration!
